Trades Generalist

Performs journey level work in the primary trade of carpentry and performs skilled and semi-skilled levels of work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry, in the repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Daily supervision of other permanent and seasonal staff will be required along with training of such staff. Carpentry duties will include project planning, lay out procedures, blueprint reading, purchasing and overall coordination of assigned projects. Operate and maintain a variety of equipment including dump trucks, aerial trucks, loaders and similar construction equipment.

Salary Range:
From $44354 to $54140 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Four years of full-time experience in a carpentry trade under a skilled tradesperson which would provide training equivalent to that given in a training, apprenticeship, or equivalent program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of technical courses in skilled trades at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services. When required to operate motor vehicles, candidates must possess a valid New York State driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle to be operated.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
